What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how the Ironworker Unionization Platform handles information entered by authorized users of the website and application.
The platform is designed for private organizing operations. It stores operational records such as contacts, projects, contractors, campaign activity, notes, and related administrative data.
How location data is used
If you choose to use a location feature, the platform uses your current device location only at the moment you request it. The purpose is to help fill in a project address faster, find existing projects near your current area, and reduce duplicate project creation.
- Location access is optional.
- Location is requested only after you tap a user-facing action such as using your current location.
- Location is used to reverse-geocode an address, search nearby projects, and support duplicate detection.
- The app does not continuously watch, background-track, or automatically monitor your location as you move through the site.
What is saved on project records
When a project is saved, the main address field is intended to store the street address. City, state or province, postal code, and country are stored in their own fields when available.
Location-assisted lookup may temporarily use coordinates to help with address lookup or nearby matching, but the website does not show persistent GPS readouts to end users as part of the standard project detail or edit experience.
What we collect from authorized users
- Account and organization information needed to authenticate and administer access.
- Records, notes, attachments, and workflow data entered by authorized users.
- Optional one-time location input only when a user explicitly invokes a location-based feature.
- Technical logs and operational diagnostics needed to secure and maintain the service.
How information is shared
Information is shared only with the service providers and infrastructure required to run the platform, such as hosting, authentication, and approved AI or processing vendors configured for the application.
The platform is intended to keep access controlled within the organization and according to role-based permissions.
Retention and access control
Data retention and access are governed by the organization operating the platform and by the platform permission model. Only authenticated users with the required role or permission can access protected areas.
If you believe location data or any other information has been used in a way that does not match this policy, report it to the platform administrators so the configuration and logs can be reviewed.
